But the best thing to do is to submit bug reports, try to ignore any negativity if its bothering you, or give this game about 6 months–try something else for a while and come back then. Will it be a hard, bug-riddled road ahead? You betcha. Unless someone has actually worked in the MMO genre, knows how code works (it isn’t a simple fix or a switch to turn things on and off–things break, sometimes you get a domino effect where one thing fixes, and 10 other things break) -I dont think its fair to say AGS isn’t doing enough.Ĭonsidering how some other MMO games have launched with dumpster-fire level issues (ESO and Fallout 76 come to mind) and eventually became a decent game–I still have faith for New World.
It depends on the place where you find it. While yes they have had 4 previous games, you can’t compare them to the scale of an MMO. Sometimes youll find a abandoned Power Armor suit complete, or incomplete. While I am frustrated, I consider AGS’ attempts to fix things as quick as they can, as well as be transparent as they can. I know that most of my posts generally defend the game, but I also have been a bit frustrated with the bugs.
